Michael Grover appointed to Fill Ninth Judicial District vacancy in Roseau

ST. PAUL (KVRR) — Gov. Tim Walz has selected Michael Grover to  become the next judge in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District which is chambered in Roseau.

The Commission on Judicial Selection had selected Grover, assistant county attorney in Roseau County as one of three nominees along with Katie Nolting, city attorney for Bemidji and Max Schafer-LaCoursiere, an assistant public defender based in Thief River Falls.

Grover will fill the seat of Judge Donna K. Dixon who is retiring.
