Churches United announces partnership with OpenDoors 65

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Churches United has announced that they will be partnering with Open Doors 65 to provide services to the Fargo-Moorhead community.
In April, Open Doors 65 announced they needed help, they even started a GoFundMe, but closed their doors late last month.
Churches United reached out and said they have space at Dorothy Day food pantry.
The partnership will provide people with clothing as well as food.
Dorothy Day is typically open three days a week, but the partnership may allow the location to be open for 5 days or more.
“We have quite a few of our homeless that spend a lot of time with us. They’re like family to us, we’re their family and they’re our family and they would come in every time we’re open and they would just spend time with us,” said Denise Vanderbush.
Open Doors 65 hopes to open its doors by late October.
