Concerning message by DGF student prompts investigation by Clay County Sheriff’s Office

DILWORTH, Minn. (KVRR) — Dilworth Glyndon Felton Schools says a concerning message shared with a small group of friends this weekend triggered an investigation by the sheriff’s office.
DGF Superintendent Shannon Hunstad in a message to families says the concerning message was first reported to the School Resource Officer.
Clay County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined that there was no credible threat to student or staff safety.
Hunstad says the schools remain safe and both sites will be open as scheduled on Monday, September 15.
