Wingstop to return in strip mall on the former Kmart site in south Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Wingstop is returning to the FM Metro.

Public records show the chicken wing restaurant will be located at 2301 South University Drive on the former Kmart site.

The interior of the strip mall is being remodeled to include new fixtures, equipment, electrical and plumbing work.

There is no date given for when it will open.

A Wingstop that was located at 2653 45th Street South in Fargo closed in 2019.

Wingstop started in Texas in 1994 and currently has more than 2,800 restaurants worldwide.
