Swing Barrel Brewing Celebrates Oktoberfest

The brewery released two new, special beers for the occasion.

MOORHEAD, MN (KVRR) – The changing seasons can bring out a variety of seasonal products – including beer!

Swing Barrel Brewing Company in Moorhead held an Oktoberfest party on Saturday, unveiling two new Fall brews for the occasion.

There were also food trucks serving brats and sauerkraut, live music performed in traditional Bavarian style, and other games and activities.

Swing Barrel says that getting to utilize their outdoor space makes these celebrations all the better.

“We get to come outside, we have the public coming out with us, we all get to have a big party, celebrate beer, celebrate friendship, and it’s just the best ever,” said co-owner Nic Bordwell.

There was also a special deal at the event where you could purchase a commemorative stein for $25 and get free refills for the rest of the day for just five dollars.
