No foul play suspected in death of woman found in Red River in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — The woman whose body was recovered from the Red River in Grand Forks earlier this week has been identified, but police will not publicly name her until Friday.
They say relatives have been notified and they are giving them time to contact other relatives.
Police tell us the preliminary results of this investigation do not indicate any foul play, nor concern to the public.
On Monday afternoon, a passerby spotted the body in the water just north of the Riverside Dam boat ramp on the west side of the river and notified police.
