MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — The race was on! HOPE Inc. hosted its annual Adaptive Track Meet event on Saturday.

The event was held at Concordia College’s Olson Forum Fieldhouse.

Both Concordia’s Cross Country team and Track team assisted in congratulating all the participants with their very own medals.

Over forty participants of all ages participated in the various race divisions, which included wheelchair, assisted wheelchair, adapted runner, adapted walker, and more.

“These are one of our favorites of the year. It’s the one time of the year we get a lot of our HOPE Inc. families together, and just everyone has a lot of fun and meets success… Once you’re part of HOPE Inc., you’re kind of, we’re a family. So we get to know our participants really well, and so then we can easily be able to break them down into different race categories,” said Kelly Buhr, HOPE Inc. Office and Program Manager

Hope Inc. will be hosting a Fashion Show on October 25th at Horizon Middle School.
