A Heroes Welcome Home: Veterans on the Honor Flight return from D.C.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — There wasn’t one but two very happy homecomings at Fargodome.

The first plane of our local war heroes arrived around 6 p.m. with the second plane coming in around an hour later.

Hundreds of family friends and strangers came out to give the veterans and volunteers a warm welcome home.

Many waved American flags and signs while the band played. People all throughout the crowd cheering and clapping for the returning veterans.

This was trip number 21 and 22 for Veterans Honor Flight of North Dakota/Minnesota.
