Moorhead police arrest juvenile in connection with armed robbery of Casey’s General Store

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — The Moorhead Police Department says they have made an arrest in connection with the armed robbery of a Casey’s General Store late Monday night, Sept. 30.
According to Moorhead police, West Fargo Police Department officers identified a potential suspect from Fergus Falls during a traffic stop on Oct. 2.
During the stop, police say they recovered a stolen firearm from the vehicle, which they believe to be the same weapon used in the robbery.
Moorhead police say that after collaborating with the Fergus Falls Police Department, a 16-year-old male was arrested in Fergus Falls without incident.
He is currently being held in the West Central Regional Juvenile Center pending formal charges from the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
Moorhead police is still working to determine if any other people were involved in the robbery.
