Male stabbing victim in Cass Lake, MN being treated in Fargo

CASS LAKE, Minn. (KVRR) — A stabbing victim from Cass Lake, Minnesota is being treated at a Fargo hospital.

Cass County, Minnesota Sheriff Bryan Welk says the assault happened around 2:30 in the morning on Saturday.

Deputies arrived to find that the 29-year-old male victim had been stabbed several times.

He was treated on scene before being flown to Fargo by helicopter with serious but non- life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff says initial information from the victim and a witness was inconsistent and the investigation continues.
