MATBUS offers riders a free ride for ‘Try MATBUS’ week

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — MATBUS is offering riders a free ride on all its fixed route services all this week.

The free rides come as part of MATBUS ‘Try MATBUS week.’

It’s a week dedicated to showing the Fargo-Moorhead community all the benefits MATBUS has to offer.

The service comes as each year, two million passengers use the service on their daily commute.

MATBUS will also be hosting two events throughout the week, with Warm Up Wednesday and Customer Appreciation Day.

“It’s a great way to see what the whole process is about, let you know there’s a little bit lower barrier to entry, so you don’t have to worry about finding those payments, you can just hop on board and just give it a try. So really just give people the freedom for trips that might work for them without having to commit any funds to it,” said Taaren Haak, MATBUS Marketing Manager.

Anyone interested in riding can hop on at any of the local stops.
