$18 million multi-year network upgrade plan for Fargo area residents, businesses

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Midco announces the next phase of its multi-year Fiber Forward initiative.

This $18 million investment in fiber network upgrades will bring faster internet and better security to homes and businesses across the Fargo area.

$7.6 million will fund symmetrical, multi-gig fiber internet for over 36,000 homes and businesses in Fargo, West Fargo, and Horace by 2026.

Upgrades will begin in Mapleton, Dilworth, Harwood, Casselton, Oxbow, Frontier, Reiles Acres, and Sabin in 2027.

All of Fargo-Moorhead should be complete by 2028.
