Otter Tail County home heavily damaged fIre, several people injured

OTTERTAIL, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house fire in Rush Lake Township, north of Ottertail at 4:24 a.m. Friday. There was smoke coming from inside the home.

The Ottertail and Perham Fire Departments, Ottertail Rescue, Perham Ambulance, and the sheriff’s office responded. There was significant damage inside the home and the residents suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
