West Fargo fire call leads to drug arrest

WEST FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A 41-year-old woman with no permanent address is in the Cass County jail after a fire call to a West Fargo hotel led to a drug arrest.

Around 2 a.m. Friday, West Fargo firefighters were called to a report of a fire at Homewood Suites by Hilton at 805 E. Beaton Drive. A police spokesperson says first responders discovered smoke from a room that turned out to be burnt food.

During the investigation, police officers saw drugs and drug paraphernalia. Kierra Fogarty is facing two felony charges of possession of drugs with intent to distribute with a firearm and felony possession of a stolen gun. She also has a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.
