FARGO, N.D (KVRR) — A local nonprofit is giving back to the community by making a lot of lasagna.

The group will be holding a Thanksgiving Eve Lasagna Marathon and volunteers and donations are needed.

On November 26, volunteers will be assembling and delivering more than 60 lasagnas to families in need of a meal over the holiday.

“We Are Lasagna Love” will happily accept your $5 donation or 5 minutes of your time to get the job done.

“There are people every single day who struggle with that. And that’s where we can take the resources that we’ve been blessed with and we can bless other people. A little bit really goes a long way. And one lasagna can really change a families life and it just gives them that energy to keep pushing through for the next day,” said Lizzie Grothmann, Supporter of Lasagna Love.

The nonprofit has over 80,000 volunteers in four countries and has delivered to over two million families in need since 2020.
