Man arrested after domestic incident, crash and search near Ten Mile Lake Resort
OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A man was arrested this morning after a domestic assault incident and crash near Ten Mile Lake Resort in Dalton, Minnesota.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call reporting a physical domestic assault by strangulation.
The male suspect fled the scene and was believed to be suicidal.
He crashed his vehicle and contacted the victim asking for a ride.
Reports of a man running in and out of the woods near the resort were called in to Grant and Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Offices.
Deputies responded and used a K-9 and drone in the search.
The man was eventually taken into custody without incident about one mile from the campground.
His name has not been made public.
The incident remains under investigation.
