State trooper captures semi pileup on I-94 east of Moorhead on Tuesday afternoon

CLAY CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Winter weather driving skills are being put to the test across our region.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow sharing this video of numerous semi’s piled up on I-94 westbound just east of Moorhead.

Traffic was being diverted at Exit 15, the Downer exit.

No life threatening injuries are reported.

We have numerous other reports of crashes, fender benders, jackknifed semis and vehicles in the ditch thanks to this first major snowstorm of the season.

A number of highways and roads are also closed due to some crashes and blowing and drifting snow.
