UPDATE: Several crashes reported Sunday afternoon on I-94 near Fergus Falls, non-life threatening injuries

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — Minnesota State Patrol Trooper Sgt. Jesse Grabow on X says troopers on Sunday afternoon were responding to and investigating several crashes.
At 1:29 p.m., a semi was stopped in traffic on westbound I-94 with a vehicle stopped behind the semi.
That driver began to move when they noticed a pickup with a utility trailer approaching at speed but were hit causing it to spin into the cables.
The pickup continued forward and struck the rear of the semi and came to rest partially submerged underneath the tractor-trailer.
The 19-year-old driver of the pickup, Ethan Gronwold of Miles City, Montana, has non-life threatening injuries and is at Sanford in Fargo.
A passenger in the pickup that was hit also has non-life threatening injuries and she was taken to Lake Region Hospital.
Around 1:44 p.m., a vehicle heading eastbound on I-94 in the same area was cut off by a driver and braked.
A third driver didn’t realize they had braked and crashed into the rear of the vehicle.
That driver, 22-year-old Mckenna Kaszynski of Fergus Falls, was taken to Lake Region Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The other driver was not hurt.
Grabow wrote that some crashes were blocking westbound travel on I-94 west of Fergus Falls.

A 54-year-old West Fargo man, Ted Mckinney, was driving one of the vehicles that got hit.
