Holiday Lights Parade Returns to Downtown Fargo

The parade began in Moorhead before concluding on Broadway in Fargo. It began at 6:30 P.M. on December 6.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The 2025 Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade returned to downtown Fargo on Saturday night, spreading holiday cheer up and down Broadway.

The parade followed its traditional route, starting at the intersection of 6th Street and Center Avenue in Moorhead, continuing down NP Avenue and then cutting onto Broadway in Fargo.

Thousands of spectators turned out to see the procession and collect some candy.

The Downtown Community Partnership also urged attendees to stick around downtown and check out the window displays in stores as a part of the Window Wonderland competition.

Parking restrictions went into effect at 4:00 P.M. and were lifted by 9:00 P.M.

The parade itself began at 6:30 sharp.
