Concert series: Goo Goo Dolls and Alison Krauss set their sites on our area next summer

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Goo Goo Dolls have announced their next summer tour will take them to Grand Forks with opening act Neon Trees.

The band with hits like “Iris”, “Slide” and “Feel The Silence” will be at Alerus Center on August 3.

They will also make stops in our region at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, Canada Life Centre and Summit Arena at The Monument.

Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 at Ticketmaster.com or at Alerus Center Box Office.

One of the most influential and widely celebrated acts in bluegrass and roots music has added Moorhead to their tour schedule next summer.

You can catch Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas with Theo Lawrence at Bluestem Amphitheater on June 16.

Krauss is one of the most awarded artists in Grammy history with 27.

Tickets are on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $61.25 to $84.25 plus fees.
