One dead in overnight house fire
Cass County, N.D. (KVRR) — A 64-year-old woman is dead after a house fire south of Horace Wednesday night.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the owner came home and the house was filled with smoke. Crews from Southern Valley Fire and Rescue and West Fargo Fire responded and contained the fire.
The woman was found dead inside the house. The Sheriff’s Office says it is not releasing her name at this time.
The Highway Patrol and Sanford Ambulance also responded.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office and Southern Valley Fire and Rescue are investigating the cause of the fire.
