Golden Drive for Homeless Kids celebrates year of giving

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – It may be the season of giving, but for Golden Drive for Homeless Kids, the season of giving is year round.

They’ll be celebrating this year’s efforts to support homeless kids in our community with their annual “Fill the Fire Boot” event at the West Fargo Rural Fire Department on Friday.

Along with a chance to meet Santa and his elves, they’ll be announcing the results from their annual sock drive and toy drive this year.

They say that while the need is always growing, the support they get from the community is invaluable.

“The need is just growing. We continue to help throughout the year, and our great supporters, this great community, it’s priceless. It really is.”

The “Fill the Fire Boot” event will run from 2 to 5 P.M. on Friday.
