Jamestown teacher, volunteer firefighter accused of sexual relationship with student

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR) — A Jamestown teacher and volunteer firefighter has been arrested for corruption of a minor.
Jamestown Police arrested 45-year-old Michael Romans.
The teacher at Gussner Elementary allegedly had a sexual relationship with a Jamestown Public Schools student over the course of one to two years.
Romans was booked into the Stutsman County Correctional Center while he awaits formal charges in Southeast District court.
He has been placed on administrative leave from both Jamestown Public Schools and the City of Jamestown.
This case remains under investigation.
