Charges filed against Wolverton, MN man involved in fatal New Year’s shooting

WOLVERTON, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Third-degree murder and manslaughter charges are filed against a Wolverton, Minnesota man involved in a shooting in Wolverton early New Year’s Day.

According to court documents, 26-year-old Myron Johanson was waving a gun and pointing it at people during a party.

A witness says Johanson walked up to 22-year-old Jorden Boehm, put the gun under his chin and asked if he trusted him and the gun went off.

Officers arrived to find Boehm was dead.

Johnanson told officers that after the gun went off, he cleared it and put it on his bed before he called 9-1-1.
