FBI and local law enforcement investigate homicide on Spirit Lake Reservation, juvenile in custody

FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KVRR)  — A male juvenile suspect has been taken into custody during a homicide investigation on Spirit Lake Reservation.

The victim has been identified as Jesse Clark Davis, known to family and community members as JC.

Spirit Lake Tribal Council says in a statement that they believe this to be an isolated event and there is no ongoing threat to the community.

Fort Totten Bureau of Indian Affairs and FBI continue to investigate.

FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KVRR) —  A homicide investigation is underway on Spirit Lake Reservation.

Spirit Lake Tribal Council in Fort Totten issued a statement saying it is award of the homicide that took place today within the reservation.

Local law enforcement and FBI are on scene and investigating.

The council says details remain limited as the investigation is ongoing.

We have asked for any word on a possible suspect in the case and are waiting to hear back from public relations.
