School threat investigated by Moorhead Police
MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) –Moorhead Police Department is working with Moorhead Area Public Schools after a social media post suggested a potential threat to a school.
The post was taken seriously, and both the police and school district immediately implemented established safety protocols.
The student involved is not in school and will not return until the investigation is complete.
Parents at Horizon Middle School were sent an email to notify them of the incident.
At this time, police say there is no known additional threat to our schools.
