Boy fatally mauled by dog near New York Mills, MN is identified
NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KVRR) — A three-year-old boy mauled to death by a dog west of New York Mills, Minnesota on Sunday has been identified as Beckett Brown.
His 51-year-old grandmother, Kristen Nelson, is in a Fargo hospital after suffering serious injuries while trying to stop the attack.
Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says Beckett entered an outside enclosure where the dog was kept.
Nelson called 911 as she was driving to Perham Health where the boy died.
The adult American Bulldog was put down by the family.
