BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — Gov. Kelly Armstrong will deliver a State of the State address during a special session of the legislature.

It’ll take place on January 21 at 10 a.m. and will be livestreamed on the Governor’s Office website.

The special session is being held to address the funding awarded to North Dakota by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

It will support the first year of a statewide Rural Health Transformation Program.

The North Dakota Constitution requires the governor to present the condition of the state to every regular and special session of the legislature.
