Scott Diamond appointed to East Central Judicial District judgeship in Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Gov. Kelly Armstrong has appointed Scott Diamond to take the place of Nick Chase as a judge in the East Central Judicial District chambered in Fargo.
Diamond is a former prosecutor and current Judicial Referee.
He also served five years as a city prosecutor in Fargo from 2008 to 2013 and as an alternate municipal court judge for Fargo and West Fargo from 2013 to 2023.
He’ll take the bench on February 1.
He is a UND School of Law graduate.
Chase resigned last October after he was appointed U.S. Attorney for North Dakota.
