FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man is accused of stealing over $35,000 while employed at JL Beers in downtown Fargo.

30-year-old Cameron Wheeler appeared in court last Friday on a charge of felony theft.

Bond was set at $1,000.

Court documents reveal the owner of JL Beers, Randy Thorson, showed police accounts tying Wheeler to the stolen money between May and December last year.

Thorson provided time stamps of Wheeler coming into work when he wasn’t scheduled and at 2 a.m. when the bar was closed.

Records show Wheeler told investigators that he was quote, “going through some mental stuff” and admitted to stealing “a couple grand”.
