Winning Powerball ticket sold in Minot is worth $150,000

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — A Simonson Station Store in Minot sold a Powerball ticket that is now worth $150,000!

The lucky player matched four out of five white balls and the Powerball in Monday night’s drawing.

Since the player also bought the Power Play option and the multiplier was 3, that $50,000 prize was tripled.

Simonson will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

It is the second $150,000 Powerball prize in the last 30 days in the state.

Thomas Lawler, director of the North Dakota Lottery said, “What a great way for a North Dakota Powerball player to start 2026 with this large prize.”

The Powerball jackpot for the January 21 draw is $209 million.
