Man accused of taking running rental vehicle last Friday in Fargo is arrested

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Detroit Lakes man was arrested after a high-risk traffic stop last Friday in Fargo in a stolen vehicle.
Police say 31-year-old Christopher Anderson took the vehicle which was left running with the keys inside in the 1700 block of 44th Street South around 8 a.m. on January 16.
A FLOCK alert indicated the vehicle had been spottedĀ about 45 minutes later near 40th street and 2nd Avenue South.
Once officers were in place, Anderson was stopped.
He was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle and cited for driving under suspension.
The stolen rental vehicle was recovered, and arrangements made for its return.
