Album Release, Book Signing Combine for Unique Event

The Kamikaze Snowmen are putting out their seventh studio album, while local high school teacher Chuck Lang is hitting shelves for the very first time as a novelist.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Paradox owner Rich Early admitted it was a bit of an interesting gambit, asking local band the Kamikaze Snowmen and newly published author Chuck Lang to participate in a joint album release slash novel debut event; but, judging by the crowd that showed up at the shop on Main Avenue to support their area creatives, it was one that seemed to pay off.

“They got a great turnout,” he said with a smile.

The Snowmen are old hands at this, with their recent offering being their seventh studio album.

However, Lang, despite teaching just about every English discipline at Sheyenne High School, is experiencing the sensation of seeing his book on shelves – and in readers’ hands – for the first time.

“Now that I’ve written these words and they’re in the hands of my readers, those words become theirs,” said Lang.

He admits getting his supernatural horror tale, Dead Gods, to print, was quite the challenge, but that witnessing the fruits of his labor made it well worth the effort.

Even better news for Lang is that Dead Gods is just the beginning.

He signed a three-book deal with his publisher – which means sequels titled Orphan Angels and Sacred Sin will also be on shelves sooner rather than later.
