Girl injured after being hit by a vehicle in a crosswalk in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A juvenile female is being treated for injuries after being hit in the crosswalk at 36th Avenue East and Veterans Boulevard in West Fargo.

Police say it happened just after 5 p.m.

Multiple witnesses told police that it appeared the girl entered the intersection on a ‘Don’t Walk’ signal and was then struck by a vehicle traveling southbound.

The extent of her injuries is not clear at this time.

No citations have been issued at this time as the crash remains under investigation.
