Moorhead man arrested for making bomb threats

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A Moorhead man is arrested for making bomb threats to multiple businesses.

Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Troy Johnson made a threat to Clay County Social Services on an employee’s voicemail.

The caller was known to the employee. It was determined the suspect had made additional bomb threats to other businesses in the Fargo–Moorhead area.

A search warrant was granted and executed by Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Moorhead Police, and a K9 unit from Fargo.

Johnson was taken into custody without incident and is being held on felony Threats of Violence charges.
