Sandy’s Donuts buys building to make it a donut factory and distribution center

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) – Sandy’s Donuts has plans to turn the former Air Mechanical building in West Fargo into a donut factory.

The location is currently 11,300-square-feet and Sandy’s plans to build a 3,000-square-foot addition.

The owner says the goal is to improve efficiency and make more donuts by opening the manufacturing and distribution center.

They won’t necessarily create more jobs, but there could be a handful of additional full-time positions.

West Fargo City Commission has voted to approve a five-year tax incentive for Sandy’s Donuts, which keeps the property tax for the new location at the current level of nearly $17,000.
