FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski is going to update city commissioners on immigration related enforcement and the department’s use of force policies.

Zibolski, in a notice sent to the commission, says the overview is being provided due to the recent increase in national I.C.E. operations and related protests across the country.

He’ll give the overview and take questions during Tuesday night’s city commission meeting, which was moved from Monday night due to the President’s Day holiday.

Three members of Moorhead’s city council recently tried to limit I.C.E. access to public property for staging areas, but the motion was tabled and moved to a work session.

Several council members at their last meeting said the city manager and attorney had already given them pages of information on what they can and cannot do legally when it comes to I.C.E.
