One person found dead in Osage, Minnesota house fire

OSAGE, Minn. (KVRR) — One woman is dead and a man is taken to the hospital after an early morning fire in Becker County.
The sheriff’s office took a call after 4 a.m. for a fire in Osage, about 30 miles east of
Detroit Lakes.
A passing vehicle on Highway 34 was flagged down and told someone was possibly still inside.
The female was later found inside the home and pronounced dead.
A male was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids for smoke inhalation and possible burns.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The victims’ names will be released pending autopsy results of the female.
