Thief River Falls man killed in snowmobile crash Saturday afternoon in Polk County, MN

POLK CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A Thief River Falls man is dead after a snowmobile crash northeast of Gentilly in Polk County.

The sheriff’s office says 33-year-old Cody Teie was pronounced dead at the scene.

They responded Saturday afternoon along with Crookston Area Ambulance and tried life saving measures.

They say Teie was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
