Couple tried to flee police during Sunday night traffic stop in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Two people are arrested after trying to flee from police during a traffic stop in West Fargo.
Just before 10 last night, police tried to pull over 35-year-old Steven Foster for a traffic violation but he fled.
The vehicle hit spike trips near Main Avenue West but Foster kept going and hit a squad car.
Foster and his passenger, 34-year-old Katie Haglund, got out and fled on foot.
Haglund was quickly caught while a K-9 unit and drone were used to find Foster hiding in the industrial park.
He was arrested for fleeing, reckless endangerment and drug charges.
Haglund was arrested for fleeing on foot, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple outstanding warrants.
There were no injuries reported.
Foster and Haglund have no known address.
