FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The city is dealing with another dangerous building at 115 6th Avenue North.

A house built in 1900 in north Fargo meets 8 of the 10 standards to be considered dangerous including multiple broken and boarded up windows, foundation cracks and large amounts of indoor and outdoor junk.

The city was notified of squatters on the property in December and police cleared them in January.

Squatters returned and were once again cleared by police earlier this month.

The city learned that the couple who owned the property were going through a divorce when the husband died. The widow has no desire to retain or repair the structure.

Commissioners voted for its removal by May 29 if the owner fails do to so.
