Gardner, ND man surrenders hours after deputies learn of alleged sexual assault of a juvenile

GARDNER, N.D. (KVRR) —  A Gardner, North Dakota man is arrested after an alleged sexual assault of a juvenile victim.

The victim identified the suspect as 34-year-old Kaleb Chase.

Cass County deputies responded around 4:45 this morning to the small town about 20 miles north of Fargo.

Chase didn’t come out of the home until 7:30 a.m. and he was taken into custody.

He is being held on a felony charge of gross sexual imposition.

Deputies say the victim received medical care.

At this time, investigators do not believe there are any additional suspects involved.
