Hit and Run

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A big surprise for workers inside Smiling Moose Deli in Grand Forks after a vehicle came crashing through the front windows.

Police say it happened around 11 a.m. at the location on South Washington Street.

They say the 18-year-old female driver parked in the deli’s parking lot after making a wrong turn.

When she attempted to leave, she believed her vehicle was in reverse but it wasn’t and went crashing into the building.

The driver wasn’t hurt and there were no customers inside at the time.

She was issued a citation for care required.
