West Fargo man gets life in prison for sexual abuse of a child

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo man convicted in December for sexually abusing a young girl is sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
31-year-old Nicolas Wika was found guilty on three counts of gross sexual imposition of a victim under 15-years-old.
According to court documents, the investigation started after someone contacted police saying a 7-year-old child was afraid to be in the same room with Wika.
Officers worked with Red River Children’s Advocacy Center to provide services to the victim.
Wika was arrested last July for sexually abusing the child in August 2024.
