West Fargo’s verified candidates for office include just one person running for mayor

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Former West Fargo City Commissioner Eric Gjerdevig is the only declared candidate for mayor of West Fargo.

He was on the commission from 2018 until 2022.

Tyler Erickson, John Severson, Patti Stedman and David Withee are candidates for two open city commission seats in June.

The terms of Commissioners Brad Olson and Roben Anderson expire in June.

James Martens makes the ballot for City of West Fargo Municipal Judge.

Four people make the list for West Fargo Park Board Commissioner including Chris Heise, Jake Lauritsen, Thomas Paskvan and Robert Rasmussen.

Today was the deadline to file in the city and become a verified candidates for the 2026 June Municipal Elections.

A public drawing of candidate order will be held on Wednesday at noon at West Fargo City Hall.
