Local venue Parachigo seeking donations to keep doors open

FARGO (KVRR) — Owners of a local art and music venue in downtown Fargo say they are in need of funding.
Parachigo has been running for the last three years, bringing the community local musicians, artists, craft fairs, and improv events.
But last month, the executive director said there are concerns about making money.
From making up to $0 to $5 an hour, and just last month only making seventy-six cents.
A social media post was made online to garner support to raise funds, and they are hoping to gain a wider audience.
“It does get better all the time,” said Parachigo Executive Director Anjali Karna. “We’ve figured out how to do this as a group of people for like three years now. This is definitely the best the system has ever been. And anybody who wants it to exist can contribute to the system.”
While they are still in need of money, the calendar at the space is fully booked with many events in the coming days.
