Icewind Brewing Celebrates 6th Anniversary
The brewery says that after reaching the five-year mark as a business, they're able to relax just a bit and really celebrate their success.

MAPLETON, N.D. (KVRR) – A beloved local brewery is celebrating as another year of operation goes down as a success.
This weekend marked the sixth birthday of Icewind Brewing Company, out in Mapleton.
The party stretched over June 5 and 6, with food trucks, cash and music bingo, and live music on Saturday evening.
Icewind ownership says now that they’ve cleared the five-year hurdle, this anniversary was much more about relaxing with their regulars.
“It’s like everybody’s drinking in our garage, that’s how it is sometimes,” laughed Rick Brandvold, owner of Icewind. “Just being a small business – anytime someone spends their money on our stuff, we appreciate it. And we love being a part of the brewing community in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and part of Mapleton,” he added.
The brewery says they’re looking forward to a summer full of outside events, like the Red River Market and the Renaissance Fair.
