Young students from across the region are getting a little taste of college life.

College for Kids is underway at MSUM.

Hundreds of kids are taking part in sessions that feature arts and crafts, fitness and sports, nature, and science.

Some new courses this year include creating video games and 3-D printing.

Registration has doubled from last year’s program.

“It’s awesome. It is great. It’s great experience for the teachers. It’s great experience for the kids they get to meet new friends and do new things and explore a college campus. We had one student say that since it’s his first year in college, he’s a little nervous,” says Marissa Van Vleet, a teaching assistant.

Registration is still available for next month’s programs.
