Looking Back At North Dakota Legislative Session
Some area legislators and business leaders are taking a look back at this year’s session.
The Chamber hosted a legislative wrap up where several lawmakers talked about what was accomplished in Bismarck.
Some of the speakers included Senator Judy Lee, Senator Tim Mathern and Representative Al Carlson.
They talked about everything from keeping the common core standards to setting money aside for Fargo flooding.
“In the end I think that we can put a stamp on this and say it was business friendly, it was education friendly and it was North Dakota return money to the pockets of the taxpayer friendly,” said Representative Carlson.
Representative Carlson also talked about approving record levels of funding for K-12 and higher education.
