Names of ATV Accident Victims Released
UPDATE: Authorities release the names of the victims of an ATV accident Thursday near Gardner.
They are 50-year-old Corby Heller and 53-year-old Robert Schmitz, both of rural Gardner.
The Sheriff’s office says Heller was driving the ATV at the time of the crash and Schmitz was a passenger.
It appears the ATV hit a tree, killing both men.
The investigation is ongoing.

Authorities were called to a farmhouse near Gardner around 9:30.
Two men, ages 52 and 49 years old, were found dead on the scene.
Their identities are not being released until the families have been notified.
The sheriff’s office and highway patrol are trying to determine how fast they were going.
Their bodies will be sent to Bismarck for autopsy.
